This has been burning a hole in my speakers for the last two weeks. Epic journeys of sound with immense ,tortured vocal performances . Every track is a masterpiece of violent theatre with pounding drums n bass, virtuoso guitar playing and that iceberg- Heavy organ crunching down or soaring high .To choose a favourite track is near impossible as each one is a masterpiece in its own rite, fully realised and developed to wring out the last drop of emotion !hope it gets a physical release some day.

Musically this feels more experimental for La Dispute reminding me of their Here, Hear releases. Very atmospheric and easy to lose your self in. Perfect for the next time you’re contemplating your existence. (Also found out the guitarist builds his own pedals and used them on this record; neato!)

Incredible discography. The paper bag 7" on Gravity was a game changer for modern hardcore punk. The lyrics to "Blind" opened my eyes and I never looked back.

Endlessly dark and yet subtly catchy, this might be some of the bleakest pop music you ever hear. (yes, that's meant to be somewhat tongue in cheek, as the compositions are too complex to actually be pop music).
